The Town of Sparta accepts cash in person and checks by mail or in person at the Town Hall for utility bills with no additional fee. We accept credit and debit card payments at the Town Hall for utility bills for an additional processing fee. A transaction fee of 3.0% will be charged to your card at the time of payment. Utility bills can also be paid on-line through Xpress-Pay with a credit or debit card. A transaction fee of 3.0% will be charged to your card at the time of the on-line payment.
